our neighbors are dumb.

the people across the street aren't the brightest people I've ever met. We live in New England. It snows. A lot. You'd think people who were born and raised here would know that. They never shovel-snow blow-plow their driveway. Instead, he just puts his jeep in 4 wheel drive, and backs out. Then drives over it a couple times, and leaves it at that. Once in a while, he'll shovel behind her car, but not every time. So she gets stuck. He's like 300 pounds, and had a knee replacement last year. When we had the first storm this winter, Mike went over and snow blow-ed their driveway, after noticing that they weren't doing anything to it. He never came outside, and never said thanks.
This morning, she started her car, to bring their daughter to school. But it was cooold last night, and we had a storm yesterday, consisting of snow and freezing rain. She never scraped the ice off of her windows.

Hope everyone buckled up this morning, because I'm sure she can't see.

more snow.

another snow day. Kevin had yesterday off for a teachers workshop and now today for snow we have no room for. I wish I would have kept track of the days off so far. we're paying for Cameron's preschool, I think we should get a rebate!
they'll be in school year round at this point!

small Nick funny...when he falls, someone always says "are you ok?!". yesterday though, he fell a little bit, and I guess I wasn't paying full attention, so he gets up going "uhhh...........OK!??!......OK!??!!" I realized the problem and said "Oh, are you ok!?" and he says "yup". I love that he makes sure we're polite.

I love tv.

a ton. I think this tax season, we're getting a new one. a big one. and I am so excited at the thought of all my dvr'd shows being huge. I'd actually like to get a whole new living room. we bought a new couch in 2003, and then gave that to mike's brother and took his mother's hand-me-down, since it was more neutral colored. but, its not comfortable. and I miss the big ol' blue one. it was horribly ugly, (by my style today) but oh so comfortable.

I love spending money in my head, before I even get it.

Kevin.

I had to have the "how to ask out a girl" talk with Kevin the other night. He likes the little girl that sits next to him in class. He wants to be her boyfriend, but wasn't sure how he'd do that. His first girlfriend was in preschool, she told him he was her boyfriend lol. So anyway, he's writing her a note on Tuesday. The typical "will you go out with me" note. Too cute.

Today, we were at my grandmothers, and he was making himself burp. After the first few times, I had had enough, and told him to stop. He did it again, cause all kids listen so well, and I told him 1 more time, and it was soap city (mostly kidding). Five mins later he did it again. Sooo I chased him around the kitchen with the soap. After he decided that maybe I was serious, he stopped. But in the meantime, he was writing things, on the crayola light up glow board thing, and Nan's dog was being a turd. He wrote "Koal is not cool. BURP."

Boys.

Nick.

The child puts everything in his mouth. Everything. Kevin and Cameron never did this, so its brand new, and super annoying. He does it on purpose, he'll come over with something, anything, and say "Yuck!", and then stick it in his mouth, and run off laughing.
He's grown so much recently. He seems so much taller, and even Kevin noticed today, he said "Oh, Nick is so skinny!"
He cracks me up every day.

*little side note, LOST is coming back, and I cant freakin wait.

I've been slacking.

I forgot about the blog.

To catch up, Christmas was awesome. The kids had so much fun! They got tons of stuff, and I got to find spots for everything!

New Years was fun too!

We have lots of snow, seems like we've gotten a storm every week. This week we're in for a "deep freeze". Today'll be the warmest of the week, in the 30's I guess....New England. I got a frappachino at Starbucks recently, and the lady there said "only a true New Englander would order a frozen coffee drink in the middle of winter." lol I'm looking forward to spring time.

anyway, hopefully now that things have calmed down, I'll remember to blog it up.
